Welcome, New Staff!

We are sad to say good-bye to three veteran teachers who are moving on from Holy Spirit. Amy Nelsen, Maggie Kramer, and Dave Skrypek are all on to new adventures. We will miss them and wish them only the best! That said…

We are happy to welcome 3 new faculty members to Holy Spirit.

Aaron Van Hoeck is our new 3rd grade teacher. Aaron comes to us from Cascade, Iowa where he taught and coached at Aquin Catholic School. Aaron is a graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. Together with his teaching partner, Kathy Kimlinger, I’m sure there will be a great things in store for our third graders.

Annie Rivard is our new 4th grade homeroom and intermediate and middle school math teacher. Annie will be teaching most of the 4th and 5th grade math classes and will be working with middle school math teacher, Dale Columbus to teach 8th grade math. Annie comes to Holy Spirit from Transfiguration Catholic School in Maplewood.

Erica Riehm will be joining the middle school team as our new Religious Studies teacher. Erica comes to us from Our Lady of Peace Catholic School in Minneapolis, where she taught Religious Studies and Language Arts. Erica will wear the hat of teacher and parent. Her son, Henry, will begin kindergarten at Holy Spirit in the fall.

When you have a chance, please take a moment to welcome these new members of our faculty.
