Volunteers Needed for Teacher/Staff Appreciation Luncheon and Classroom Supervision
To cap off Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, a luncheon is being planned for all teachers and staff to enjoy on Friday, May 11.
Parent volunteers are needed to help with the set up, serving, and clean up for the luncheon in Howley Hall, and also at the school to supervise classrooms while our teachers and staff enjoy the meal. Volunteers will check in either at the Howley Hall kitchen (for luncheon helpers) or at the school main office (for classroom supervisors; assigned 2 to a classroom).
Luncheon helpers are needed from 10 a.m.–noon for set up, noon-2 p.m. for service help, and clean up. Classroom volunteers will be assigned to K-2 classrooms from 12–12:20 p.m., 3-5 classrooms from 12–12:30 p.m. and 6-8 classrooms from 12:40–1 p.m. Classroom volunteers should be prepared to shift between classrooms or to help supervise on the playgrounds as needed.
The more volunteers we have to cover the classrooms and playgrounds, the more staff can get together to enjoy their lunches with their colleagues. Let's show our appreciation and give our amazing teachers and staff a break!
