The Catholic Athletic Association sponsors an outdoor hockey league that runs from January through February. This is a no checking league and is open to boys and girls in grades 6-8. Due to the limited roster size, consideration will be given to students with previous hockey experience.

The fee to participate on the team is $80.

Registration for hockey has closed.

Most games are played on Wednesdays at North Dale Recreation Center or Groveland Recreation Center. There will be a game on Martin Luther King Day and President’s Day at an indoor arena during the day. In the past these games have been at Augsburg.

The assumption would be that most of our players likely play on another team, and therefore would already have plenty of time committed to hockey.

The process for registering for a team includes:

  • Payment via the Buy Now button
You will receive an email confirming your child’s registration has been processed. If you do not receive an email something, went wrong during the registration process and you need to try again.
  • Following online registration, you will receive a permission form. The form must be turned in by the first day of practice.

A student is not registered until both of these items are received by the school. For online payment, you will receive an email confirmation that your payment has been processed. If you do not receive an email, an error occurred during the registration process and you must re-register.

Students not signed up by the deadline are not guaranteed a spot on the team.  If space is available, there is a $25 late fee. Reduction in fee will not be granted for absences due to illness, injury, vacation or inability to play because of academic ineligibility. Prior athletic fees must be paid in full in order to participate on the team.

It is required that all players have their own equipment to play (helmet with mask or full shield, mouth guard, shoulder, elbow, shin pads, supporter/cup, breezers, socks, gloves, skates, & stick). Jerseys will be provided and collected after the season.
