Music Ministry

Welcome to Music Ministry at Holy Spirit!

Catholic liturgical musicians strive to become windows to Christ in the liturgy. The window's transparency allows the person on the outside to peer into the magnificence on the inside.

In the same way, our music, from the prelude to the postlude, becomes a gateway to the greater liturgical action: Christ presenting Himself in the Eucharist.

Holy Spirit has three choirs that are open to singers of all abilities:

Traditional Choir is for teens and adults. The first rehearsal is on Wednesday, Sept. 6 from 6:30–8 p.m. in the church.

Contemporary Choir is for teens and adults. The first rehearsal is on Tuesday, Sept. 5 from 6:30–8 p.m. in the church.

Children’s Choir is for second–eighth graders. The first rehearsal is on Tuesday, Sept. 19 from 3–4 p.m. in the church.

To view practice schedule and other information, visit each choirs information page listed to the right. Please contact Katie Mendenhall if you have questions or other musical gifts to share with our parish community.
